Ernie Robson, of 'The Salvation Army', Hexham, Has worked tirelessly, devoting his whole life to helping people. He has always been there to offer advice, words of comfort, encouragement...He readily gives of himself to anyone in need. He is undoubtedly, the kindest man I have ever met. He has worked for as long as I can remember, at the Salvation Army. Running youth clubs, organising band practice, attending all the many services the Sally Bash offer. For me personally, he was there to offer a steady hand, and good advice, when my Father died many years ago,(I was a boy of twelve) but for his help, I may have been a very different person to man I am proud be now. Please help me try and get this lovely gentleman some recognition for all his good work.
