Community Petition Regarding Ongoing Neighborhood Disturbances
To: San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office
From: Concerned Residents of Conchas Dam New Mexico.
Date: 6/24/2025
We, the undersigned residents of the Conchas Dam Community, are writing to formally express our collective concern regarding persistent disruptive behavior coming from 141 Green Place Conchas Dam, New Mexico 88416.
Over the past 4 years, there have been frequent incidents including but not limited to:
• Excessive noise during late-night hours
• Public disturbances or confrontations
• Fireworks
• Fires
• Racing of Atv’s and Utv’s
• Adults and Children riding on boats while being trailered
• Potential safety risks to children and families
• Disregard for shared community spaces and property
Despite previous efforts to address these matters amicably, the behavior has continued and is severely impacting our ability to enjoy a peaceful and safe living environment.
We respectfully request your department’s assistance in investigating these disturbances and enforcing any applicable noise or nuisance ordinances. We believe a proactive approach can help prevent further escalation and restore a sense of safety and comfort to our community.

Many folks are fearful of these people and family members. There past actions represent a clear and present danger to this community.
One of the greatest things about Conchas is its lack of need for law enforcement. These guys were circling our boat thinking we were some other boat that cut them off and threatening us on the boat ramp. Many boats on the lake look the same but we had nothing to do with them and their boat rage. Sober up and enjoy our beautiful community.
Hope this works without any repercussion.
It's sad we have to be afraid in our own cummunity.
Rules, regulations and laws should be enforced just as they are in any community.
