As many of you know I own a small business doing electrical, hvac, and plumbing repairs. On November 30th, 2016 we received a letter from the HOA stating the Vehicle that is parked in my driveway is in violation of the HOA guidelines and wouldn't be allowed to be parked there any longer due to the Lettering on the side of it. We have lived here for 11 years with simular vehicles in the driveway since. This is the first violation we have received. This vehicle is parked behind our house on our long driveway out of sight from the street and general public unless you go behind the house. We have had a vehicle of such for the past 11 years here and we are asking you, our neighbors, many of which we have helped at various hours of the day and night to help us change the rules in the HOA documents to allow these type of vehicles in the neighborhood. We are not the only ones here with this situation and we find it a little upsetting that we cant have our work van parked in our driveway out of sight from the street.

It is a life/work vehicle which will fit in his private driveway and does not distract from the look of the neighborhood. With the opening of the new shopping/ business center, do we not want to utilize our neighborhood as a live-work neighbhood for future sales. Besides, with how close these houses are to each other and lack of utilization of home garages to park family cars and most cars on the street -- this live/work vehicle would be in the driveway.
I agree with you if it has been there for 11 years why change. I think this is crazy
Commercial vehicles should be allowed in driveways out of sight.
Where are working members of society supposed to live and provide service to their clients.
I think this should be allowed if parked in driveway on private property.
I agree the rules should be edited to involve smaller trucks, like this one, to be parked on personal property (driveways).

The HOA should amend the documents to allow home-based businesses to park (1) personal vehicle in their driveway with language in-line with county requirements. Large scale trucks, loaders, etc should be prohibited. Let's focus on the things that really matter and not on tearing apart small businesses.
