Oversized commercial vehicles - big box trucks and 18-wheel tractors - have been parking overnight illegally in Veranda. These non-residents block our homes, streets and traffic.
Fort Bend County owns our roads, and we want them to help stop this problem.
We need at least 425 Veranda homeowner signatures on this petition. Fort Bend will then erect signs in our neighborhood reinforcing Texas Law TC 545.307 that overnight commercial parking is illegal.
This will give homeowners more power when they call the Sheriff (or Richmond Police if you are near 762) to report violators.

Watching the tracker tick up toward that first hundred mark is honestly so wild because who knew so many neighbors were losing sleep over these massive trucks blocking the view. We need to keep this momentum moving forward right now instead of letting it stall out because the people in charge look at these numbers before they even read our actual request.

Get these things off our streets!! My kids play outside and I am tired of these big trucks parked everywhere.

Ridiculous that people think they can just park their work rigs in a neighborhood. Hope this works.

Finally. Its getting ridiculous trying to pull out of my driveway with these massive trucks blocking the view.
