This petition is introducing the need for the Comex busses to run on the weekends, and later on weekdays. These reasons being; Plenty of people are trying to get in and out of town on weekends, or weekdays in general. Those that don't have vehicles may find it difficult to get into town for things such as family, friends, education, shopping, etc. For certain people, the gap between bus arrivals is a problem. For people who have appointments but can't get out at the right time because the Comex doesn't arrive to their stop at that time. I think there should be multiple busses going out at closer intervals. What if you have a meeting to attend after 7 pm? The Hampton Comex, and other Comex's wouldn't be able to serve you ; which is also a problem. After consulting the Board of Directors for the Community Comex, they informed me that the reason for their scheduals not resembling the Saint John Transit's is because Hampton, KV, Grandbay, and Quispamsis are communities, and Saint John is a city; Saint John being a bigger place than any of the above, they have more funding, and more people riding the busses. Funding or not, what difference does it make ? There are many people who would take the Comex more often if the busses ran later and on weekends. They would also get more funding too , because majority of the people on the Comex have monthly pass cards, meaning 100 $ a month per person. Even if you don't take the comex, or even if you know someone that does. Please sign this petition to inform the Board of Directors of how we feel.

The Board of Directors is hiding behind excuses about funding and city size while ignoring the reality of the people relying on these buses. I am tired of being told that our communities do not deserve basic transportation access just because we aren't a major city. We are keeping the pressure on them until they stop dismissing our needs.

Living in Hampton without a car is basically impossible. I missed so many shifts at work because the bus schedule just doesn't line up with reality. Needs to change.
