This is ridiculous. funding should be for anyone making meaningful work and standup is definitely that.
Writing a good bit is way harder than half the trash they fund anyway
it makes people happy. that is art in my book.
really hope this changes things for the better because the comedy scene needs help
TOTAL JOKE that they don't see it as art. Comedy is literally the hardest thing to do!!!!!

Comedy takes just as much skill as painting or theatre. About time they caught up.
