Me and three other students at the University of Albany, Graduate School of Social Welfare are working on fighting the opioid crisis and are focusing on the City of Troy. We are starting this petition to gain support in educating Troy residents and students on available training on how to administer Narcane and save someone from overdosing on heroin. We want the training to be offered at various locations/times including community agencies, high schools and colleges. Please sign this petition to support the expansion of this training and help to fight opioid abuse and save a life. Thanks in advance.
We are currently meeting with local health officials to discuss the logistics of hosting these training sessions. Your signatures are the leverage we need to keep this conversation moving forward.

The momentum behind this is incredible. Seeing this level of support for overdose prevention in Troy confirms we are on the right path.

My brother struggled for years before he passed. Narcan needs to be everywhere. People are dying while we wait.
