I spent the entire morning staring at the empty art room door while thinking about how much color is missing from these halls. Some parents messaged me saying their kids are literally drawing on the walls at home just to find a creative outlet and it honestly makes my heart ache for them.

I logged on this morning and almost dropped my coffee seeing how many people actually care about getting paintbrushes back into the kids' hands. It feels like we are finally building real momentum toward an actual art room again which is just such a relief because these kids deserve way more color in their daily routine than they have been getting lately.

My son goes to school here and he is always drawing at home. It is a shame they dont have any classes for it at school because he really needs that outlet.
Art is a crucial part of development and expression in children! I am so saddened to hear this!
It will always be important for children to expand their creativity.

I know that ultimately it comes down to finances. However I do believe that art is an essential component of a well-rounded education and should be provided to all children if possible.
