As residents of Combe and its surroundings, we the undersigned hereby:

• Express our deep concern about the current state of the Cock Inn, which appears to have been abandoned to become increasingly derelict, vulnerable to vandalism, and an eyesore at the centre of the village; and
• Call upon the effective sole owner of the Cock Inn, Sir Anthony Gallagher, to end his company’s silence, to clarify his intentions for the future of this valuable community asset, and to engage in meaningful dialogue with the village on these matters.
