As District Councillor for Combe I fully support this petition to revitalise a valuable village asset .

Saving our pub has had a transformative effect on the village and really brought the community together. Please allow Combe the chance to save their pub for the benefit of the community.

I have seen how our village pub has come alive again by becoming village community owned. Please consider allowing Combe community the chance to have the same -a thriving pub. Let the community know what your intentions for it’s future are.

The Cock Inn was an important resource for residents of Combe and surrounding villages. I miss being able to walk over and enjoy a drink or meal and chat with villagers. Information about the intentions of the owner would be very welcome.

The community of Combe needs a vibrant pub with good food to be a sustainable enterprise, rather than a restaurant with a token bar.

Criminal that the pub which used to be the focal point of the village, has been left to decay after all the promised investment and development…

Please return this lovely pub to a fit condition for us all to use!

We need our pub!

Such an important part of the community and village, and an absolute crying shame it's been allowed to fall into such a sorry state.

In times like these each of us will benefit from our community pubs. It's not about alcohol.. it's about community, a feeling of inclusion, sharing, friendships, reaching out to those in need, well being , opportunities, new associations, creating spaces for groups, new ideas, joining forces with the school et al, warmth, welcoming, feeling valued & cared for....

Get the Cock Inn back into service for the village!

Please do not allow another village pub to disappear. We know there is local demand as the reopening of The White Horse in Stonesfield has proved.

The Cock Inn should be reopened as a pub for the village of Combe. It is currently an eye sore in the village and needs to be refurbished and reinstated as a pub for everyone in the neighbourhood.

This was one of the pubs that was walkable from east end. Lots of walkers pass by, it should be be possible to make this a viable business. The pub should not just be left to rot!

This is terrible to allow a lovely building to fall in to this state & lose this pub

This pub could be an asset to the area and a real money spinner.

The pub is a vital asset for the community and the building should be allowed to deteriorate.

Please let us know what is happening to the last and once very popular pub in Combe.

This is a valuable community resource. Any move to approve a change of use would set a dangerous precedent for other rural communities.
