The residents of CMS have been aware of an issue with the hot water system of our building for nearly two months. Previous to a repair that required the water to be shut off, our units enjoyed instant hot water service. Since the repair, we have had to wait upwards of 20 minutes for adequate hot water to show up. Depending on the time of day, and physical location of the unit in the building. Many of us opting to not waste water and take a cold shower instead.
During a time of unprecedented drought in California, this is irresponsible and wasteful. We are wasting, and collectively paying for, thousands and thousands of gallons of water.
