We, the undersigned, oppose the Uniform Development Ordinance (UDO) currently under consideration by the Clear Lake, Indiana Town Council. We believe, that the Town Council should vote against this ordinance. Instead, the Clear Lake Town Council should adopt a Simplified UDO that would update the current ordinances so that they would be in-line with state and federal regulations, without adding additional legislation.

Updates

June 7, 2009

I am truly overwhelmed by the momentum we have built together. This progress belongs entirely to the people who care about keeping our town simple and manageable.

Update what we have to match state law and leave it at that. The proposal is overkill.

Ridiculous. Clear Lake should stay simple. Leave local residents alone.

This new ordinance is way too complicated. Why do we need to make things harder for property owners who just want to live their lives?
