Clovis Unified School District has decided not to allow James Cook to compete at the Varsity level for the 2008-2009 season. This ban extends to both Football and Wrestling. The Cook family whole house moved as is required by CIF and it's bylaws and met the criteria to be cleared for competition. This is strictly a CUSD ruling. James is a California State finalist, a great competitor and a terrific kid. Let's work together to help James pursue his dreams and encourage the school district to take reexamine their inconsistent and unfair policies and procedure.
