I AM CURRENTLY PREPARING OUR FORMAL CASE FOR THE LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION TO MAKE SURE THEY CANNOT IGNORE OUR ANGER ANY LONGER!! THIS MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC!! THE MESSAGE WE ARE SENDING TO THE LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION IS GETTING LOUDER BY THE MINUTE AND IT IS ALL THANKS TO YOUR INCREDIBLE ENERGY!! WE ARE FINALLY SHOWING THEM THAT WE WILL NO LONGER STAND FOR TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!!

The church teaches us that we give 10% for the lords work and the city wants even more !!!! If the counsel which was elected by the people could agree more and approach things in better ways so the city could grow without having to ask for more taxes.

every adult living outside of the city limits of Decatur needs to be notified so that they are aware of what is going on, how we are not benefiting from the police jurisdiction running into the county. Please notify all of the elderly that you know and ask them to attend any and all meetings concerning the jurisdiction. Explain to them about their rights.
Living in the county means I should be under county rules. Why am I paying fees to a city that wont let me vote on their council members?? Total garbage and needs to end now.
This is taxation without repsentation they good people we serve do not have a voice or vote in the Decatur police jurisdiction. Abloish the pj and let our community be happy with out the city involvement.
We don't want or need the PJ. If we had wanted to live in the city, we'd live in the city. We live in rural areas for a reason. The PJ needs to be abolished altogether, it doesn't need to be 1-mile nor 1-1/2 mile, nor 3 miles beyond the city limits. The PJ slowly gets moved further and further into our rural neighborhoods. This must be stopped, now. We don't want the Decatur police trespassing onto our property as they did last week..... just to have a look around they said! No trespassing sign clearly posted. They had no legitimate business to be there. Guess they thought they would try to become familiar with the 'area' a week before the community meeting. We don't want to be additionally taxed, we don't want the city police, we don't want city fire departments. We shouldn't have to have city permits to build either. We live in the country for a reason, stop the non-sense!

In no way is it right to be in the county, or country, while the city has a mass majority of it in their "jurisdiction"! Not to mention the law enforcement, and medical teams, that get trampled on by the city, all because they think their badge/certification, entells them to some sort of higher level!! And the community also, made it years without their input being added, or their takeover I should say!! They need to keep themselves in the city and stay out of our county!!
