We the undersigned oppose having the Ford Bronco Offroadeo in Pomfret because of potential impacts on our shared environment (water, noise, public safety) and the potential for conflicts with uses of our Class IV roads which are frequently used for walking horses, walking dogs or lower impact vehicle use. The scale of the project is too big and too intense for the character of this area of Pomfret.

This "Roadeo" has the potential to degrade our beautiful hills, pastures, and watershed too. Not to mention the destruction of Class 4 roads.
This project effects all of Pomfret.

I strongly oppose the Ford Bronco project proposed by the Woodstock Inn
Please sign this petition if you are as concerned about the potential negative impacts of this kind of development in our community. This kind of project flies in the face of the larger goals in Vermont of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. If there is any monetary benefit to Pomfret at all, is it worth the cost?

These sort of events need to be discouraged everywhere. We are in a climate emergency and the existence of vehicles like the Ford Bronco is a bit absurd. But even if it weren't the class 4 roads in Pomfret are a peaceful respite that should remain so. Please let us walk in peace.
