Recently, the town of Dyer announced a meeting to discuss a new gas station development on Sheffield Ave. I am asking all residents against this proposal or idea to sign and share. The town of Dyer already has enough gas stations and does not need another one.
The local planning department has acknowledged the volume of concern regarding the Sheffield Avenue development. I am currently preparing a formal statement for the upcoming town council meeting to ensure these collective objections remain part of the public record.

The level of engagement regarding the Sheffield Avenue development confirms that our community values the character of our town. This momentum serves as a clear indication that residents are ready to take an active role in local planning decisions.

There is already an abandoned gas station a block down from the proposed site. Redevelop that site before putting another gas station in a town that is already full of gas stations, smoke shops, and liquor stores.

Please do not allow another gas station on this strip in Dyer. Already two failed with one contaniminating soil. This will create chaos not change for better community

We do not need another gas station in a residential neighborhood that will be located right next to a gas station. We still have the "remains" of the station that was located on the northwest corner of 213th and Sheffield, and if I remember correctly the tanks from another station are still buried on the lot on the southeast corner which is why it has not been developed. Lets see if our "leaders" listen.

Please consider something besides a gas station for the Family Video location. We enjoy our residential area and do not need another gas station across from Caseys. Please focus on improving the area on 213th and Sheffield where the abandoned gas station and run down strip mall are. Thank you.

We don't need another gas station!!! The subdivision I live in and where the gas station will be already has dangerous roads due to all of the people cutting through and this will make things worse.
