To You Okay so here is the story, The Christchurch Natcoll Design Technology Campus is just inside the CBD Red Zone. After talking to business owners in the campus area about their demolition dates we were told that we would be able to start our courses in July (three months away from our original start date) although this was hard for us to take in we understood that time was needed to clear the city and make it safe, so we accepted this news and made plans to last us till then (and finding a job in Chch is not easy at all at the moment) Now two months on we were excited for we only had one more month to wait. We then get the news that due to the area not being cleared and the lack of progress, the start date has now moved to October.... at this point I personally broke down into tears, another four months is too long for all the Natcoll staff and students to wait for our lives to start again. So this is where i need your help, if you agree that the Natcoll area should be made a priority for CERA to clear buildings in the vicinity so we will be able to get back into the building on time or earlier, (which would be even better) please sign our petition.
