Address your End of Life procedures and policies to include the patient AND their families and show publicly to the community these improvements and how you actively monitor them.
Create workshops and training for your staff and work with families and patients to show the effects of your actions.
To STOP the disgraceful and uncaring treatment in areas of your hospital.
IMPORTANT to achieve, for those making it, and their families, a respectful End of Life journey with the dignity they deserve.
IMPORTANT to show a TRUE, HONEST, and VISIBLE account of improvements to training of staff and procedures to achieve standards that are monitored and acceptable.
Our mother died of Pancreatic Cancer and after suffering a Stroke, received the most disgraceful UNCARING treatment in the hospital, the family placed a formal complaint , to be ignored with false promises of improvement and numerous other disregarded issues we feel that immediate action by the hospital MUST be taken. ONLY with public support can this hospital be FORCED to PUBLICLY SHOW how they seek to achieve this as opposed to keeping everything BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.
