I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people want to see chess tables in our park. It still feels surreal that this quiet idea has resonated with so many neighbors. This momentum belongs entirely to you all.

This a super idea and will help promote healthy living (Mental activity and fresh air to breath) not to mention chess is a peaceful way to settle disputes. We could use these chess tables to hold simultaneous exhibitions and teach children. The pros far out way the small investment the community will be making.
Chess is fun! As a 7-time WV champion I wholeheartedly support this. As a taxpayer I yield to others who know the park finances better.
I think chess tables in Ritter park would be an amazing addition. I would certainly be spending a lot more free time at the park.
This would be a great addition to Ritter's main park area. I'd like to see this up behind the fountain in the large area filled with tables or down close to the 8th St parking lot.
Wonderful idea, I'm down to assist GHPRD with implementation if a pro bono manpower workforce is needed.

Chess tables and community support to encourage more people to teach chess and more youngsters to learn it would only serve to benefit Huntington and it's residents.
