This petition is to show support for finalizing the GT Bray Disc Golf course in Manatee County, FL. We are looking to collect signatures of those who have played the course, those interested in playing, and those who would like to see this sport grow into a much larger entity here.
Currently the course has baskets and a general layout, but by signing and showing your support we can present the petition to the decision makers for the county to propose permanent tee pads, signage, and other amenities we need to make this a destination for any skill level.
Please share this petition with anyone you can. We are looking to collect a minimum of 100 signatures, and I know how great of an addition to the community this can be, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone that helps us push forward this initiative and I look forward to more courses coming in the near future to Manatee County.

The current level of support confirms that we have the necessary backing to request a formal meeting with the County Parks and Recreation Department. I am drafting a proposal for permanent tee pads and signage to present to the board members next week.

Played with my kiddos, girls ages 13 and 4, 6 months ago! We loved it, but need the tee pads to start it off! Disc golf is a great and the fastest growing sport! Great for kids! Great city and county park and great for revenue, and for just families to get out and enjoy nature! Please make it happen! :)
Very nice course that is utilized nicely with the space and other park attractions. From a disc golf perspective tee pads would be a great addition and from a park visitors perspective flying disc signs might be helpful.
Drove from Tampa to play this course and finishing touches would certainly make it more appealing to return. We spent approx. $400 in food, lodging and general shopping while in the area. What brought us there was the disc golf.

This course is a great course, especially during the summer with the shade. I see people posting in various disc golf groups mentioning that they are traveling as far as Inverness to go play the park. This is really a gem of a couse.

Disc Golf will be a great addition to GT Bray park. It's very low maintenance and impact on the environment. Disc Golf is for all age groups and skill levels. Finalizing the course with tee pads and signs will allow everyone to enjoy this great sport at any time. As it is now it's very hard for a new person to the course to follow and play.
