I declare that I was an elected delegate to and attended the 2025 Charleston County GOP Convention on April 6 2025.

We delegates were disenfranchised by the actions of the leadership of the CCRP during the Convention on 4-6-2025. The CCRP leadership did not follow the SCGOP Convention rules.

Therefore, under Rule 16(b) Code of Conduct, we ask that these Convention results be nullified and Charleston County be declared unorganized.

Rule 16(b) Code of Conduct: The State Executive Committee alone may declare “unorganized” any entity or level of organization created under these Rules for repeated failure to abide by these Rules.

I was a first time delegate this year. I was led to believe that we would vote for the CCRP leadership in a concise way, but I was disheartened to see what unfolded. The current leadership ramrodded their own slate through by asking an entire room of hundreds for yays and nays and different colored signs with roughly 5 seconds for each vote and no clear vote count occurring. Their candidates were declared the winners essentially by “fiat”. I could something like this from the democrat party but not the republican party. Extremely disappointing!

The meeting was not according to Robert's rules of order. Votes were not counted and many participants were confused with the proceedings.

Over 600 people in the room. Not one vote actually counted, despite a count being requested many times. A subjective decision was made looking at sea of colored cards. It was a close vote. No human could visually determine the result with any degree of certainty. The truly undemocratic use of slates to vote for state delegates, with only one slate offered for the delegate vote. No alternative. Same for the alternate slate. It was a totally illegitimate sham. MP15

Rules are to be followed. Several were not at the April 6, 2025 Charleston Convention. The illegitimate "results" should be declared such and not be allowed to stand.

Very disappointed and discouraged on how the body was treated at the county covention. We ended a family vacation early to come back so my wife and I could vote.

I am an elected delegate for my local precinct; and was a Charleston County and State delegate for the last election cycle. The way that the CCRP leadership conducted the Convention on April 6, 2025 was absurd and completely prevented America First MAGA Patriots from being able to cast their votes for new delegates. The actions and procedures by the CCRP leadership for the April 6, 2025 conventions needs to be investigated.

This was not conducted in a manner congruent with the Party Rules.

This was my first time as a county delegate, and I was so discouraged by the way the meeting was commandeered by one side of the party, presenting a very obvious bias for toward “already selected” candidates.
