The university finally agreed to move the spring break dates to align with the rest of the state. It was a long fight to be heard but we got the outcome we needed. I am drained from the process yet glad we stuck with it until the end.

Reaching this level of support is exhausting but it keeps me moving forward against the administration. I am tired of the silence from the top but seeing this many people expect change gives me the grit to keep pushing.

The administration keeps giving me the runaround while everyone else in the state makes their plans. I am tired of the bureaucratic silence but I am not walking away from this yet.

I'm not a student; however, I am a teacher who was hoping to see her granddaughter over spring break. Ours is the week before yours--please, for families, please consider changing the dates to the week that most other schools and colleges in Texas use. Thank you!
This is ridiculous!!!!! My friends go to different schools here in Lubbock, this isn't fair!
I just found out and it ruined my plans!!! I have friends that won't have the same spring break now
change it doesnt make sense. if no one is in our hometown then whats the point of having spring break
It is "in the best interest" of Texas Tech to provide its students with a Spring Break complimentary to those of other major Texas universities.
Can you please change it.

There is just no logical explanation as to why it isn't the same week as the rest of the state.
