TAFY has contributed many valuable services to the youth in need of Clallam County. We understand that good has come from this Non Profit Organization, and the volunteers mean well. However, there are some deep and troubling concerns from the community about some of the regular occupants that participate in unacceptable criminal behavior. TAFY stands for The Answer For Youth. This message is misrepesenting who the donations are benefiting. Mixing 35 year old troubled adults with easily influenced troubled teens in need of help is never going to end well. We would like to see TAFY make the choice. Either serve YOUTH, 18 and under or reapply for permission to serve adults only. We would like to suggest that the community withholds donations and support until TAFY returns to serving ONLY the YOUTH, 18 years old, and under.

Only licensed, certified and background checked individuals should be allowed in cross proximity to children. To do otherwise is neglect and all funding should stop until this has been rectified.

16 year old females + 35 year old troubled men = Tafy ... It's a no brainer. Separate to prevent further trouble. Underage persons should never be socially grouped with adult KNOWN drug addicts. Not to mention the CHILDREN that frequent the Tafy are being subjected to harm by allowing KNOWN sex offenders.

I think one of the biggest issues is that well meaning people are donating to TAFY not realising that the place allows adult drug dealers to frequent the place and use it's location as part of their business. It is very misleading how TAFY represents itself.

I want the kids at the bus stop protected and not subjected to these criminals they have a school bus stop across the street from TAFY.. This is so messed up.. It puts our kids SAFETY AT RISK..

I agree with having a center for youth.. but I cannot support a center for youth that is used and frequented by adult felons. The youth need to have a safe environment in which to get help and assistance, without co-mingling with adult felons and sex offenders.

Please be clear to donors who their donations are benefitting. The word "youth" in the name is misleading. I do not feel troubled and impressionable 13 year olds should be mixing with troubled and potentially manipulative 35 year olds. It is just not safe for the "youth."

I have family that live near Tafy & it has been nothing but issues. People camping out on their property, pitching tents, stealing waterlogged cupboards to create shelter in the parking garage, dragging old mattresses into the back yard, people parking junk rigs in the carport, drug paraphernalia left on the property (that took tafy almost 2 weeks to clean up after the owner offered to), filling up private single use garbage cans to the point they couldn't be used, refusing to leave private property until threatened & the list goes on. It has been nothing but a hassel for the people who live next to them due to the people who use Tafy's services. None of the people that were personally dealt with were youth but mostly middle aged to elderly men & women.

This organization needs to be closed down until they can show where their funds are going and limit services to youth 18 and under. I have heard of youth asking for help and being turned away.
