Trick or treat out in Pennsylvania usually starts at 6:00pm ending at 8:00pm. Most families have to choose between passing out candy and taking their little ones out trick or treating. Many families appreciate the traditions involved with Halloween. We enjoy decorating our homes, filling our cauldron with candy and opening our doors to all the smiling trick or treaters. But what happens when you want to take your own child out to collect candy as well? Less neighbors to pass out candy and not enough experience of the holiday in it's entirety. In other states children get off the school bus, run home to don their costumes and begin trick or treating. This allows families to experience all the fun Halloween has to offer. They get to pass out candy and then bring their children out trick or treating. Many of us will agree that we should adapt to these traditions and move trick or treating to 5pm through 9pm. We shouldn't have to choose between passing out candy or taking the kids out trick or treating. Let's enjoy all aspects of Halloween:

Decorating, filling our cauldrons with treats and taking our children out to enjoy the festivities of collecting candy. Happy Halloween!
