I have started this Petition to make the Union aware of the mistake they made when picking our Strike Authorization Vote Times. Right now they have the times set for Sunday March 9th at 8:30am and 5:30pm. Plus they just added another time of 7:00pm. Now all the people that work a late afternoons shift CAN'T GO AND VOTE!
These times are only good for employees that work midnights & days! What about all of us that work afternoons? We need a vote time around 12-1:30 pm setup, for employees that are on the afternoons shift. ALL MEMBERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE A CHANCE TO VOTE. So please help me raise awareness of this issue, by Signing this Petition and Sharing it with all of your Friends & Co-Workers on your Facebook/Twitter/Email. Also you can call the Local at

It shouldn't be held on a weekend. It's hard enough to find time with your family on the weekend especially in our industry. If our Union doesn't understand this, will they understand what we need in this contract?
I work afternoons and live in the county. No way will these times work for me.

Should be a few days, not just one, or why not online like this...doesnt the union want a strong vote for strike ? Crazy, Sunday is a very busy day and is staffed to reflect that....choose a slow day when we are not booked to work, better turnout.
