The growth of this petition has captured the attention of local education reporters who are now requesting interviews. I am currently organizing a formal presentation of these signatures to the school administration to ensure our concerns are on the official meeting agenda.

Honestly yeah I agree this is all very sexist and nothing I find is fingertip length can the teachers live with that please?
Even though i am a boy, i still agree. Its very sextist that boys can wear anything they wasnt but girs cant.
I think that it’s very hard for girls at this age to shop for things they feel confident in. The shorts being at fingertip length isn’t realistic. There are plenty of shorts I own that are completely appropriate but are not that length, for instance, girls Nike shorts.
My School is Edmond North High School and they have a dress code and ridiculous school rules, like not being able to wear hats or hoods in class
This doesn’t matter because we are going to phs where you don’t get dress coded

“if it’s a distraction to boys” why don’t you teach them how to respect women instead of limiting us on clothes to wear. i think it’s ridiculous that we can’t even wear athletic clothes without being spoken to. not to mention the fact that the other middle schools barely have a present dress code
