In light of recent events, Kris Fade and Virgin Radio have received a lot of negative comments. Even though his intentions were good, it was promoted very poorly. In order to gain back the respect and the listeners, after mentioning rescuers are small-minded people, I want to challenge Kris Fade!
Kris Fade and the breakfast crew, we challenge you to join us on a TNR campaign and join us in creating a massive pet adoption day for cats and dogs. (or at least start by joining the Bin Kitty Collective adoption day on the 22nd of May at Dubai pet food!)
Virgin Radio Breakfast show, this is your chance to do something good. This is a way for you to understand a part of what it is we do and the amount of time and energy it takes for us to do.What better way to educate than to actually do it!

this is such a great idea, I currently feed an neuter over 150 cats in jebel ali village, and I wish some of these people would just understand that these animals have a right to life too, and a right to be happy and healthy I work very hard feeding and working with these animals and gives such a large amount of pleasure, stressful at times, but hey it comes with the work we do, xxx
Please spend a day doing TNR and show UAE the difficult life of a street cat, we need to educate people about the responsibility of buying pets, because most of the street cats, are abandoned pets. Animals are not things to throw in the street once you lost interest in the, they are a 10 to 15 year responsibility.
mainly signing this because I don't believe in buying from pet shops and paying ridiculous prices for an animal that is the product of cruel breeding programs such as puppy mills, etc. Kris should have adopted. There are plenty of beautiful, pure bred animals up for adoption.
All members of my family are Kris Fade fans as well as massive animal lovers. I sincerely hope Kris and the team will get involved to help create awareness about the issues with stray, abused and abandoned animals in these parts. With the reach and influence they have they can really make a difference.
I think Kris got hammered enough yesterday, let's be nice I started this to give him/them a chance to learn!

Please use this opportunity to educate yourself and in turn all your listeners. Once you get involved you'll realize the situation here in the UAE is very different to what most of us are used to back home. Breeding & selling of animals should be restricted until a satisfactory solution has been found for the desperate plight of all the abandoned / stray pets.
