I have been spending my evenings meeting with local families who have been locked out of our community pools for far too long. Their stories remind me why this fight matters and why we cannot let the city ignore its legal obligations any longer.

Seeing this kind of movement confirms that so many of you understand why our pools need to be open to everyone regardless of physical ability. My own family has felt the sting of these locked gates for too long but this energy proves we are finally being heard.

About time. Every public spot in town needs to follow the law and stop leaving people behind.
My son uses a wheelchair and we cant go swimming like the other kids. Its not fair.
ADA compliance is not optional. Do the right thing.
Riverside is such a mess to get into. Hope they listen to us this time.
TAX PAYERS MONEY SHOULD BE USED FOR EVERYONE NOT JUST ABLE BODIED PEOPLE. GET IT DONE GRAND FORKS.

The pools are run down anyway lets fix them right once and for all.
