The objective of this petition is to demonstrate to the current governance group that broad household support for these changes exist in order to encourage a proactive response
Cedar Creek Covenants and By-laws must:
Provide for election of the Board of Directors by the homeowners NOT the current Neighborhood Rep system
Greater voice by the unit owners in major new expenditure decisions
Amenities and common areas deeded to an HOA which combines CCVI and CCVII
CCCSC (developer board) removed from the daily operations, involvement and decision making of Cedar Creek and committees placed under the combined HOA
I certify that I am a homeowner in the Cedar Creek Community and agree with these changes

The self-serving developers have made a mockery of "resort style" living. Haven't spend a dime on amenities since take over. Enough!
I am signing this because I see that other neighborhoods have nicer amenities for less in dues. This needs to be addressed and fixed. Thank you.
Upset with the lack of transparency with balance sheets and where our money is being used.
We need change in this community. I agree that the developer should be removed from the HOA board or at the very least voting abilities. As soon as this community is built-out they will be gone so why do they have any voice now!?
We need change of management. CCV1 should be under out control not the developer! The swim and racquet club should be ours as well. The developer needs to let go of control!!!
Wow, my wife used to manage this property and recognizes many of the names listed here and is astonished, some have served the community and should know how to change the governing documents. It's not really that hard, just come up with new documents (or redline the current documents) and present for review and possible adoption. An attorney was hired a couple years ago and has had more than enough time to work with an appointed group to create new procedures. She also noted that most everyone on this list, who claims non transparency, NEVER asked her to see anything or inquire as to how they could serve. It was always a battle to get people to volunteer to serve too. No need for a petition, just have the attorney create new documents as a starting point and then move forward.
