After seeing an article stating that after 75 signatures it will be considered that CCTV is placed at Cow Lane bridge. So I'm starting a petition to have CCTV placed under the commonly known as Graffiti bridge near Aldi. This bridge attracts lots of antisocial behavior, drinking, smashing of glass bottles, the use of illegal drugs, severe littering and groups of youths in a threatening capacity, I feel this is enough to put it to Didcot Town Council that this location also needs CCTV.
The momentum behind this is undeniable and it proves that people are finished with the thugs taking over Graffiti Bridge. Didcot Town Council can no longer pretend that this behavior is invisible when we have so many people demanding they do their jobs.

I walk this way to ladygrove with my dog, because of the broken glass I have to turn around and go elsewhere or if my husband with me he’ll pick the dog up, the grooup of kids have loud music blaring and makes you feel uncomfortable to walk through

I walk through that bridge when I come back from nursery with my daughter and it is often full of broken glasses and teenagers with not enough respect to give way and let you walk on the pavement

I have had five punctures caused by the glass under Graffitti bridge. The graffitti is fine, using it as a place to shelter is fine, but the glass has to stop.

Teenagers seem to gathering more and more. It’s intimidating and dangerous. Why should the community walk through marijuana smoke, broken bottles listening to the foul language?

Protect the Didcot residents! Many of them are children!
