I have spent my evenings sitting on my back porch watching that light cut through the dark where the stars used to be. The mayor keeps insisting that nobody is bothered by this but I hear from neighbors every single day who just want to look up at the night sky in peace.

Seeing this much momentum gives me real hope that we can finally reclaim our dark skies. It means so much to see that I am not the only one grieving the loss of those quiet, starry nights in Fairland.

RIDICULOUS. waste of electricity and so annoying to look at every single night.
its honestly blinding when i drive home from work. who even needs that thing on all night long? shut it off.

I used to love looking at the stars out here but now you can barely see anything at all. It is just light pollution and we dont need it.
