We the residents of Carra, Bonniconlon, Ballina, Co. Mayo, wish to draw to your attention of our eagerness to have the National Broadband Plan rolled out in our area in earnest.
Given the current nature of broadband in our area, coincided with requirements to stay at home, it is imperative that the residents of Carra will be serviced urgently for high speed fibre broadband.

The momentum is undeniable now. Officials are finally taking notice of our requirements.

Fiber broadband is an essential service that should be rolled out with immediate effect in our area. Trying to work remotely for the last 12months during a pandemic has been very difficult with the poor internet service in our area. There are many other parts of the country less populated which have a consistent, high speed broadband service. We would appreciate if you could work to extend the service to our area as soon as possible. Thank you
Have broadband line and it is terrible!! I’ve been unable use it to work from home, I had to hotspot off a smartphone....which gave better speeds than the broadband line!! I rang the provider and the excuse I’ve been told on numerous occasions is I’m too far away from the exchange in Bonniconlon. Service needs to be a lot better for the price we pay
I think it is a disgrace that fibre isn't here already, it takes 2-3 hours to upload work for school and its just not good enough in this day and age.
we have a business here trying to conduct on line is a nightmare,we also have 2 children trying to do home school is very difficult with poor internet very close to dial up stuff
Discrase that we don't have fibre by now. It makes working from home and the likes in this day and age near impossible!!

As a family with 3 school children including a leaving cert student relying on internet for schooling, it is vital we get fibre broadband in our area to assist with all the online studying. Currently our Internet is very weak and unpredictable with uploading times exceeding 2 hours for one document. As things are stressful enough in the current situation, the frustration from everyone trying to attend zoom classes, uploading work and basic Internet use with rubbish Internet is hard for everyone. We are pleading with ye to help us attain the fibre broadband in our area. Thank you
