I have already contacted valley transporation which takes our children to school and voiced my opinion about them traveling across the sink hole, which can collapse any day now, " I was told by the bus company it is safe for them to travel because of the monitoring system) The area can simply be avoied by going a different route which would only take approximately 5 to 10 more minutes I myself would feel so much safer with our children on a bus that avoided the sinkhole, I'm hoping with this petition the bus company will change their mind and go the other route beginning next year!!

I have sent a formal inquiry to the transportation board requesting the specific safety metrics they rely on for this route. Pending their response I am preparing a follow up letter to the school district to demand an immediate detour for all student buses.

why risk it?! 5 mins extra is nothing compared to the safety of those kids. just take the other road and stop gambling with lives.
What is 5 or 10 min when it comes to children's lives.

I truly don't belive it is safe like y'all keep saying and that's why i stay in fear worrying about the situation
