Had fine after swimming and rehab exercise class and shopping at Tesco. Being disabled I'm slow getting changed and moving around. Not happy at all!

Please extend back to 3 hours or I shall reconsider using Tesco car park

Has prevented using the town more as I don’t have time for swimming, shopping in Tesco, the high street and having a meal on Saturdays

I have never seen the car park overflowing so I think it is an erroneous claim. Tesco just want to dominate the town. Please resist.

When Tesco first took over the car park in the 1980s it was made clear it would remain a “Community Car Park”. This was reflected in the signage. Those signs have been replaced by ones headed customer car park giving, wrongly I believe, the impression that Tesco has sole jurisdiction over the car park. furthermore, the recent reduction in time from 3 to 2 hours does not give people sufficient time to shop, eat or attend activities in Whitchurch and should be removed immediately.

Tesco's is the loser and Whitchurch high street footfall

The ground was given to the town by Lord Brownlow for use by the people of Whitchurch.

I'm in a wheelchair - it takes me a long time to do ny shopping.

Not going to use Tesco as by the time I have done my shopping there is no time to shop in town lived in Whitchurch all my life & I think to be penalised with the parking situation I will now shop in Nantwich

Two hours has reduced my spending in town

Due to this parking in side streets is getting worse. Also wasn’t the land the car park is located on left to the people of Whitchurch, not Tesco?

It should not b allowed , we have noticed a lack of footfall in the antique emporium and I have heard people commenting that they have to leave before they have seen all at the emporium because they have to get back to their car. It's going to kill our lovely little town.

What about the new swimming pool? Any mother with more than 2 children going swimming is going to need more than 2 hours parking.

2 hours to shop in the High Street shops in town as well as getting groceries in tesco is not long enough

If I have to come into town, I'll park at Sainsburys, walk in, and then do a bit of shopping at Sainsburys on the way out. But the ubiquitous parking restrictions have deterred me from coming into Whitchurch. My visits are essential only now.

This has stopped me from shopping at Tesco. I now shop at Sainsbury's, unlimited parking time and a quick walk into town. Tesco loses out.....

2 hours is not long enough to park- it should be a minimum of 3 hours. There is swimming, shops, supermarket- why are you killing the town by reducing the parking time.

Every one is disgusted who I've spoken to, this going to have huge impact on the town. It also affects the elderly especially if they are slow on the feet, majority of disabled parking in town and carparks are usually taken by those who shouldn't park there but do.

Had hair appointment and wanted to also do my weekly shopping whilst in town. Realised 2 hours wouldn't be enough time for the 2 items and had to find separate parking for each task.

It doesn't effect me, I rarely shop at Tescos, and if I do it's only for a few things, like the paper. But I can see how it's an annoyance for many, probably not the majority. I can also see how it'll have a knock on effect to other business in the town. Sad really. It would be great if it can increase. Haven't the council already done this though? The wheels are in motion right?
