Cancel all KU Leuven on campus exams
Dear KU Leuven Campus Brussels administration,
The current crises has put a lot of stress on the students, not only because of the uncertainty but also for possible health issues for the students, their friends, and family.
The student body and its student societies have never been so united. There is an overwhelming majority of students who do not find it safe to agglomerate around campus during these stressful times, even considering the extra hygiene methods put in place and that exams are planned for the month of June. The same group of people also perceive that all students should be treated equally, and believe it is not possible to have a perfectly fair double standard evaluation system like the one that is proposed.
This petition is to ask KU Leuven Campus Brussels to have a universal online based examination method for all courses, regardless of whether the students are physically able or not to attend exams on campus.
We believe that neighbouring universities in Brussels, such as Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université Catholique de Louvain, have made the right decision in transferring their exams online and we implore the KU Leuven administration to do the same.
Below features a list of students who have signed our petition. We certainly hope that it will help make the administration change their decision.
Best regards,
KU Leuven student representatives.
