It is decidedly unfair to force some students to be physically present during exams and others not. There is no balance at all. It is also not crystal clear what is the purpose to tell about "how much the university is concerned about students and their studies and health" while neither normally organising the study process nor the whole examination. A pity!

I would prefer an oral exam organised over video-coferencing or some other assessment method that does not involve my physical presence on campus.

Allow students the mental space to focus on their exams, not whether they are safe from COVID or not.

KUL should be a beacon on handling this crisis, as they are in other academical fields. As an university with their reputation, they need to address covid accordingly, making sure that students and teachers well-being is assured long-term. We do not know yet the situation we are facing in June, therefore it seems unresponsible to expect students to commit to on-campus exams now. The great uncertainty all of us are victims to needs to be handled with a responsible and structured response of the biggest university in Belgium.
Please Cancel all KU Leuven on campus exams
