Can you believe that a sydney suburb has no water or sewerage in 2015? Help us move into the 21st century

Do you know that in Sydney Australia, one of its suburbs in the Wollondilly shire Yanderra has no water or sewerage in 2015. Please help us move into the 21st century by signing this petition form and letting the government know that this is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated. Help us please. We only want what is readily available to all first world countries and we are a first world country. Can you imagine fires running through your community being so close to your property that the flames are licking your fence, and all you want to do is turn on the hose and keep it from burning down your home, but you can't because you rely on tank water and in order for that to work you must have a pump that runs on electricity but because of the fire they have cut the electricity even though you have over 25 000 litres of water that could be used. Or perhaps not having rain and tanks go dry and you cant get water so you have to pack a bag and go to a friends house for a cup of tea and a shower, or you have water but your pump blows up and you cant access it so you have to beg the neighbours for buckets of water, and for the privilege of this we have the same rates and are expected to pay the same price as those with the amenities. If you think this doesn't sound right then please sign our petition. Wouldn't you want help if this was your situation. Seeing this kind of traction is heavy because it proves how many people understand the absurdity of our daily fight for basic water. I am exhausted by the constant obstacles but knowing we have this many people behind us makes it harder for the officials to ignore us.

The hypocrisy in this from the residents who oppose is just astounding and beyond belief, they complain about not wanting water and sewer as they want to remain rural but yet they use mobile phones, ipads, computers, plasma tvs, cars, if you want to live rural then why are you using technology, oh thats right you want to use 2015 technology when it suits you, and then claim rural when it doesnt. Double standard I think
I cant believe that a sydney suburb has no water or sewerage in 2015 that is a disgusting state for people to live in especially in our australian heat and especially in this area that is so prone to bushfires. These people are also expected to pay the same rates for even less amenities. Get this fixed wollondilly council and use taxpayers funds to actuqally benifit the shire instead of feathering your own nests
A comment was placed in the activity feed that the town does have water and sewer, this is not true, the town they were referring to in a neighbouring suburb of Yerrinbool. I have spoken to the lady she has removed her comment, but YANDERRA has NO TOWN WATER OR SEWER and that is what the petition to
This is a health and safety issue that almost no one in a 1st world country thinks about
We have been enquiring about town water for many years but nothing has eventuated from it.
It is an essential that Yanderra get access to town water and sewer.

yes i have had my water pump break down more than once in the middle of a shower and couldnt even make a cup of tea or use water to cook my dinner... and i dont like paying to have my sewerage removed which is costly.. plus hopefully it will increase the value of our homes which is a great thing. Its a massive pain having 2 or 3 minute showers because of the water usage and the cost of pump out..... LONG LIVE THE 15 minute shower... thats a treat in my house plus i have a lady who has birds that fly over my roof and id say pooh on my roof who knows whats in my water not to mention no fluoride for childrens teeth,
