Do you know that in Sydney Australia, one of its suburbs in the Wollondilly shire Yanderra has no water or sewerage in 2015. Please help us move into the 21st century by signing this petition form and letting the government know that this is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated. Help us please. We only want what is readily available to all first world countries and we are a first world country. Can you imagine fires running through your community being so close to your property that the flames are licking your fence, and all you want to do is turn on the hose and keep it from burning down your home, but you can't because you rely on tank water and in order for that to work you must have a pump that runs on electricity but because of the fire they have cut the electricity even though you have over 25 000 litres of water that could be used. Or perhaps not having rain and tanks go dry and you cant get water so you have to pack a bag and go to a friends house for a cup of tea and a shower, or you have water but your pump blows up and you cant access it so you have to beg the neighbours for buckets of water, and for the privilege of this we have the same rates and are expected to pay the same price as those with the amenities. If you think this doesn't sound right then please sign our petition. Wouldn't you want help if this was your situation.
