CA Educational Budget Reform

California lawmakers must provide a budget that contains adequate funding for public schools to maintain necessary personnel such as: Administrators, Teachers, Librarians, Guidance Counselors and Support Staff (including Secretaries, Custodians, and Para-Educators and a mental Health Counselor) If current revenues are not sufficient, new revenue sources must be obtained through raising taxes, taxing Indian Casinos, raising amounts of California Lottery monies, increasing Corporate Taxes or other viable alternatives.
