Hello Fellow Parents!

For those of you that I don't know me, my name is Sarah Risser and I live on South Chapel Hill Court, with my husband, Steve, and our five children, Emily, Klaire, Kylie, Lexi and Gabriel.

I am writing today to ask for your help in requesting a change for a Franklin High School and Forest Park Middle school bus stop to the corner of South Chapel Hill Drive and South Chapel Hill Court.

How You Can Help:
Your support would be greatly appreciated and it will only take a minute! If you could please sign the petition attached ASAP. Our combined voices will be heard and our children will have a better chance for a safer, closer bus stop solution!

The Situation:
For children living on South Chapel Hill Court, the closest bus stop is on the corner of S Chapel Hill Drive and W Beacon Hill Dr (north). And with an open wooded area for concern nearby, and the earlier middle and high school start times, these children will have to walk a few blocks in the dark most of the year! The parents are unable to see the bus stop therefore are unaware if the children made it on the bus.

There are many children on this court needing bus transportation. This year there are 4 high school students, and 3 middle school students. That number will continue to increase as an outlook for next year indicates 7 for the high school and 4 for the middle school. There are several more to come as siblings and other families reach middle and high school age. This bus stop addition request will help many and we would appreciate your support by signing the attached petition. I will keep you updated on the progress and hope that together we can make this positive change for our children.
