We, the undersigned, declare that the proposed Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) receiving terminal, storage tanks, and warming facility at Port Taranaki, with its inherent safety risks, and the impact it will have on our infrastructure, economy and environment, are not acceptable and are not in the overall best interests of all the citizens of New Plymouth and Taranaki.
For the safety and future of our communities, the residents of New Plymouth and citizens of Taranaki urge you to take action to stop the establishment of the proposed Contact Energy and Genesis Energy \"Gasbridge\" LNG terminal.
The momentum behind our opposition to the GasBridge terminal has grown significantly in recent days. This collective response demonstrates that the residents of New Plymouth are deeply committed to protecting our environment and infrastructure.

This will ruin the coastline for everyone. New Plymouth is about families and lifestyle not industrial hazards right on our doorstep.

NO WAY. Contact and Genesis need to go look somewhere else. Taranaki has given enough to energy interests already.

Living right by the port is scary enough with normal operations. Adding LNG storage is just asking for a disaster we cant recover from.
