We, as concerned and interested Berkeley County property owners, tax payers and voters, that live along the US-176 corridor, petition our current County's Officials to immediately make way for the design and purchase of any needed easements for an adequate water, sewer and other transportation infrastructure that should be tied into this corridor's planned expansions. These plans should allow for the implementation of the current and future growth of our area. Furthermore, these improvements must to be integrated with the current "Right-of-way" road expansion and improvements plans along US-176 that lie between US-17A and the Cypress Swamp just beyond Jedburg & Cooper Store Roads.
As US-176/State Road corridor widens, we believe the Berkeley County Public Officials have dramatically over-looked and have not planned, smartly or adequately, for the well-being of the current and its future property owners that this expansion will and is creating. Even though many of us do not necessarily look forward to these changes that will and has affected our rural way of life, we also recognize that we can not stop the growth and that these changes are beyond our control. Therefore, we feel that the County bears the burden to have the foresight to properly plan for these changes, so it not only benefits us, as property owners here along this corridor, but also the community in general, and thus should allow for good economic growth and benefits along the way.

It is ludicrous to construct a major road through an obvious area that needs sewer now and in the future without at least putting the pipe in the ground at the time of construction of said highway. It would be cheaper and logistically easier at that time then to do it later after a busy highway is finished and busting at the seams again
I support this effort as a 78 acre property owner on US-176. Please make the necessary upgrades to the utilities.

Please continue to work on a solution for our US-176A home owners. Everyone needs water. We need to plan before further growth occurs, we should not be overlooked.
We have one good shot at this. If we don't get sewer with this road widening we may never get it.
Sewage in this area prior to road widening is absolutely imperative.

Having sewer service not only benefits the current land owners, but the county. Without it property usability and values will stagnate. With it, those properties will increase in value and potential for both residential and commercial use, greatly benefiting Berkeley County.
