The city finally committed to breaking ground on the skatepark. I am drained from this long fight but I am relieved that our persistence pushed them over the edge. Stay tuned because now we have to make sure they actually build the thing they promised.

This petition is to show the City of Buffalo, Erie County and New York State that there is need and demand for a downtown/waterfront Buffalo skatepark. We are trying to show that people are willing to travel from all over Erie County and further to a world class skatepark in our area. We do hope that the skatepark helps improve acces to the waterfront and the Erie Canal development area.

The climb toward five hundred signatures has been draining but we are still here. Please send this link to anyone you know who wants a skatepark in our city. We need to reach that mark to show the officials that this project cannot be ignored.

One hundred people have signed on for the skatepark. It has been a long road already but seeing this growth honestly keeps me going when I feel like giving up.

my kids have nowhere to go. would be great to have a safe place for them to ride instead of the street.

Buffalo needs this badly. tired of getting kicked out of every spot downtown when we just wanna skate.

The waterfront is getting all these renovations but leave out the skaters every time. put a park in down there.
