We call upon Buckinghamshire Council to exempt council tax payments for at least three months due to the Corona Virus.

National Govt and local councils should be doing more in their role by granting council tax payment holidays and exemptions to households and in particular those who have no safety net. Council services are now being halted/curtailed as a result of the Corona Virus. Householders should receive a minimum 3 months exemption

Support to residents is simply insufficient. People cannot work. People cannot earn. And yet people are still expected to pay for rent, bills, food and council tax. I am in a position where I have lost all my work, have no viable or safe alternatives, and I am not eligible for ANY universal credit OR employment support for wages lost. I am effectively without income for the foreseeable future.

We need to do this urgently as we cant get any services if you have a special needs adult as all the services have stopped care college and respite care they are all paid for from council charges

The week we went on lockdown my council tax went up £30 a month. I have never seen an increase so high in the 6 years I've been paying council tax. I'm on minimum wage. That £30 extra makes a massive difference.

Pretty much the whole country has been furloughed or lossy jobs, income lost or heavily reduced. Mortgage companies offering 3 month payment holidays immediately yet councils RAISE council tax and send invoices the week of lockdown!?! Give the people a break, everyone’s affected here

Should give us discount for certain services that have been suspended, Understand it’s not there fault but we are paying full service for refuse removal and only have certain things collected

Trying to stick to a really difficult repayment plan from last year when hubby was made redundant . With this on top it will be extremely difficult to keep up whilst paying other essential housing costs food energy bills.

I would appreciate if council tax can be waived off during the lockdown period as self employed people don't have income.
