The community of Building Technology in the Department of Architecture at MIT highly appreciates the efforts that the department is putting to encourage design education and research. However, the new "Facilities Use Fee" serves as an unnecessary mandatory financial burden that we ask to be relieved from. We the undersigned call upon the Department of Architecture and its head, Nader Tehrani, to reduce the Facilities Use Fee for Building Technology students to the previous $75.00 per semester "CRON Printing Fee."
