Many other elementary schools in Surrey School District have started running a Universal Lunch program through the district’s Feeding Futures Deptartment.
Each meal costs a low $3 each and includes a complete entrée with protein, vegetables/fruit and starch. The government will send staff to deliver food daily, so the school does not need to make arrangements.
We invite all families and students to join the petition to bring this community based, healthy and delicious program to Chantrell Creek Elementary School.

My kids eat way better when they have a hot meal at lunch. This would be a huge help for our family since mornings are always a total rush.
