Allowing trainers as part of school uniform promotes practicality and comfort for students throughout the day. Their cushioned support reduces foot fatigue, especially during active lessons or breaks, potentially improving concentration. Furthermore, trainers are often more affordable and durable than traditional school shoes, easing financial burdens on families. This inclusivity can also help bridge socioeconomic gaps, as all students can wear comfortable and appropriate footwear without drawing attention to differing financial backgrounds. Ultimately, integrating trainers fosters a more comfortable, active, and equitable learning environment.
Feet problems run in my family. I have long narrow feet and I have never been able to find a pair of ‘proper school shoes’ that actually fit my feet. I chose Ansford because of their freedom shoes-wise. Now that’s gone; please bring back trainers!
