I have been reading all the memories you are posting and each one reminds me why Ms. May is the heartbeat of this school. I am working on compiling these stories to present directly to the administration because they deserve to see the impact she has on us.

Seeing this much support for Ms. May is overwhelming because I know exactly how much she means to all of us at JMSA. This energy proves that the board cannot simply ignore how vital she is to our building.

Her presence made me stay in the class. I already have an art class and don’t need this one. Without her I’m thinking of dropping the class entirely because I don’t see anybody replacing her teaching and the environment she built. As a student I do not support her removal.
Personally, Ms. May has always been there for me. She had continuously made me feel welcomed in and safe her class. It’s heartbreaking to lose her, especially as our only photography and graphic design teacher. This is incredibly unfair. Bring back Ms. May.
I personally have never had Ms.May, but the way my friends have described her is beyond what words can express. I hope they bring her back to her JMSA family !!
She housed a very comfortable environment that cannot be replicated and I feel that her removal from the school was unjustified and unfair.
Ms. May was one of the most fun teachers I’ve had so far at JMSA. Even though it was virtual, she made Graphic Design so fun and I was literally interested in her class. Please keep her at JMSA, she deserves it!!

Ms. May was able to establish such a meaningful and sincere connection will all of her students from the first day of school! I remember being nervous the first day back to school after remote learning, and I had graphic design first thing in the morning. Ms. May made me remember why I loved going to school. It’s the people that make it all so enjoyable.
