The district finally agreed to reinstate Mr. Richard on route 18. It has been a long and draining fight but seeing him return to his bus makes every ounce of that effort worthwhile. I am going to keep an eye on things to ensure he stays exactly where he belongs.

Provide Mr. Richard the opportunity to return to Friendswood Independent School District's bus route #18 in the Sunmeadow subdivision.
Our neighborhood's most beloved bus driver has been relocated based on a single complaint. Despite the overwhelming outcry of dissatisfaction, disapproval, and sadness from the majority, the decision to remove Mr. Richard still stands.
The voices of the majority in our community, those who have trusted Mr. Richard year after year with the transportation of our young children, deserve to be heard and considered.
The parents and children in Sunmeadow are requesting that Mr. Richard be provided the opportunity to return to route #18.

The administration continues to ignore our messages but the weight of this support is starting to feel undeniable. I am exhausted by the silence from the district office yet seeing so many of you join this effort keeps me moving forward.

One single complaint trumps all the good things he has done? Just not right. So tired of the squeaky wheel always getting the grease.
Mr Richard is amazing. Although my kids do not ride his route no more. I remember him always greeting my kiddos with high fives. One of my son has autism and he always made accommodations for him; which I’m very thankful. Honestly, so happy for Neighborhood for reaching out to you.
My children have ADHD and anxiety issues and my little brother, who also rides the bus, has autism. None of them really deal with change well but especially my brother. He is comfortable with Mr. Richard. He trusts him and that is a serious leap for him.
My son & I love Mr. Richard! He is so polite and has helped when my son had an issue with another student picking on him on the bus. He nipped it in the butt and I more than appreciate that! Bring him back!!!
I have had children riding a school bus for 22years and have never had a bus driver I trusted more than Mr Richard. It is very unfair that he has been removed from our route. We want him back for our peace of mind! Please return Mr Richard to route 18 ASAP!!!!
Please bring Mr. Richard back to Sunmeadow!!!
Ms Debbie had given her all to support the FHS colorguard!!! Safely providing travel for our girls!! Please bring her back!

Mr Richard is such a nice person. I don’t like to talk much but I always could with mr Richard. He always looked out for me when kids weren’t being nice to me.
