Please bring Mr. Richard back to Sunmeadow!!!

Ms Debbie had given her all to support the FHS colorguard!!! Safely providing travel for our girls!! Please bring her back!

I felt my grandson was safe with Mr. Richard at the helm. Please bring him back. He is awesome!

I feel as though Mr. Richard has been treated unfairly. In turn, the children and parents that he drove Route 18 for have been treated unfairly by his removal as our trusted bus driver

One single complaint trumps all the good things he has done? Just not right. So tired of the squeaky wheel always getting the grease.

Damien LOVES Mr Richard and hasnt been in this district for 2 years and he STILL talks about him! We love him!

I don’t live in Friendswood anymore but am honored to have met such a nice man. My ADHD child used to ride his bus and he was so patient and kind with him. I know everyone would be thrilled to have him back on route.

I don’t ride the bus anymore but my sister does, he takes care of his kids. It’s wrong to let him go from our route.

Mr Richard is such a nice person. I don’t like to talk much but I always could with mr Richard. He always looked out for me when kids weren’t being nice to me.

Sensing our kiddos to school is scary enough but something that we also worry about is their safety and well being to and from school. Mr. Richard was our bus driver for almost 6 years and to hear the decision that was made to pull him from this route because of one childs complaint breaks my heart. I can not imagine the stress this job entails daily, but Mr. Richard always greeted my kids and me with a smile and made us feel at ease that he would take care of them and treat them as if they were his own children. Kids will be kids and will definitely test the rules and push limits and very often those actions can cause injuries. This is a part of growing up and learning lessons. We need to teach our children to take ownership and responsibility for their own actions instead of finding someone to blame or point fingers at. I am so saddened to hear that because of one childs behaivior and poor decision making that an amazing man who a incredible amount of parents have come to trust and love can be let go. I hope that you will reconsider this choice and allow Mr. Richard to be placed back on the sunmeadow bus route. These are scary times for our children and families and any little bit of peace and comfort we can have as parents is a great blessing.

Give us Mr. Richard back!!!!! My children and our entire family love Mr. Richard! Most of my kids excitement to go back to school was to see Mr. Richard again. He takes such amazing care of them and is always so pleasant. We want him back.

Mr. Richard is a gem. To the person who lodged the "single complaint"... you need to talk to the other parents signing this petition. I have seen Mr. Richard go above and beyond NUMEROUS times to ensure the safety and happiness of everyone on his route. He does not tolerate bullying and he is always helpful. Friendswood ISD and the transportation people need to correct this mistake as soon as possible.

We want Mr Richard back please.
