We the citizens, a collective of artists, musicians, film makers, photographers, historians, enthusiasts, patrons and friends of the Moreau Lodge, petition to you, the owner, for the reopening of the doors of the Moreau Lodge to the community and all connected by it.
This petition acknowledges and agrees to legally uphold individual responsibility and commitment to the cost of any and all expense through monetary donations and funding. Our intention as a group is for the integral preservation of this historic landmark so it may thrive as a local hub for the arts and entertainment community of Jefferson City, MO. We recognize and support the common goal for this non profit organization. Restoration and the fiscal security of Moreau Lodge/Moreau Park is considered a matter of utmost importance.
Each of us, in one form or another have had that pivotal moment in time when Moreau Lodge went from a building, to monument. For some of us that was many decades ago and yet to this day, Moreau Lodge stands out as a diamond in the rough to a whole new generation.
Our intention as a collective is to give back.
